WERE LARGE FISHPONDS HERE, WHEN ESTATE BELONGED TO THE ABBEY OF ST ALBANS (B1).
REFERENCE TO SHEET OF WATER (B3 (1862)); SHEET OF WATER & MOAT(B4-5).
NO TRACE OF MOAT OR FISHPONDS; LARGE SHEET OF WATER IN GROUNDS COULD BE ENLARGED OR ADAPTED MOAT OR FISHPONDS. NGR TO THIS (B7).
