AXE WITH GROUND CUTTING EDGE. CUTTING EDGE WIDTH 34MM. PETROLOGICAL REPORT BY PROF SHOTTON: MICACEOUS SANDSTONE. FOUND IN WIDENING DITCH AT WINGRAVE (B1). FINDER, MR J H HABEL CORRECTS ERRONEOUS NGR (SP 8724 1891). AXE WAS FOUND IN DITCH ON E SIDE OF HEDGE (B2). SKETCH OF AXE (B3).
