Fragments of a Roman vase, chocolate coloured, with a white slip design, possibly Castor ware was found at White Cliff Villa, Princes Risborough (SP 819044). Presented to Bucks County Museum in 1911 (B4).
'White Cliff Villa' is now called 'Whitcliff' and a well/tank is situated in the garden at SP 81830446. The present owner has knowledge of the find from the Horwood family who found it, and confirms the siting (B5).
