Description

Plan Form - LINEAR
GULLIES 8, 9 & 11 INDICATE THAT A HOUSE PLOT HAD BEEN SET OUT FRONTING WALTON ST. G9 WAS MORE PROBABLY A PALISADE RATHER THAN A DITCH; THERE WAS A LARGE POST SOCKET IN ITS BASE. G9 CONTAINED ST NEOTS POTTERY, G11 A ST NEOTS RIM. G8 HAD MUCH ANIMAL BONE, A KNIFE & QUERN FRAGMENTS (B1).
