OLD UNSIGHTLY MARKET HOUSE BUILT OF TIMBER & PLASTER IN STYLE OF HENRY VIII'S TIME (B1).
OLD MARKET HOUSE STANDING 1847, HAD DISAPPEARED IN 1862. 1863 LITERARY INSTITUTE BUILT ON THE SITE. 'WENDOVER TOWNE HOUSE' ORIGINALLY CHURCH HOUSE. CONVERTED TO MARKET C1615. EARLY C19 AMATEUR DRAWING (B3).
