WITHIN FIELD ARE SEVERAL IRREGULAR HUMPS WHICH COULD BE PLOUGHED HOUSE PLATFORMS. NO DEFINITE PATTERN RECOGNIZABLE. NO FEATURES SHOWN ON GT KIMBLE INCLOSURE & TITHE MAPS NOR OS 6 1ST EDITION SO COULD BE OF RECENT DATE. SITE COULD HOWEVER REPRESENT SMALL MANORIAL SETTLEMENT ATTACHED TO GROVE FARM (B1).
