5 SLIGHT GULLIES CONTAINING SAXON MATERIAL. ONLY G4 & G5 PENETRATED OVER 10CM INTO BEDROCK. G1 MAY HAVE BEEN A PALISADE TRENCH (SEE B1,PP186-7)
