FOUND LATE C19. EVANS TYPE B:8. UNINSCRIBED STATER. 1 OF MISCALLED COINS OF MORINI, ATTRIBUTED TO '1ST BELGIC INVADERS'. (B1).
GOLD STATER 'MORINI' (B2).


Two I.A. Coins found "near Chequers Court, Aylesbury". One Evans type B:8, uninscr AV Stater [one of the miscalled coins of the Morini, attributed by Brooke: Num. Chron.5 XIII (1933), Map III, to the "first Belgic uivaders": Allen, Belgic Dynastics, Arch.XC(1944) p.30 says "imported"], the other Evans type B:10, uninscr. AV stater [attrib. by Brooke, loc.cit. Map VII, to the "second Belgic invaders" & by Allen, loc.cit.IV:5, to the Regui] (B1).
As above, impressions of two ancient British coins exhibited by Evans 18th Apr. 1867 (B8).
The Evans type B:8, listed by Allen as Gallo-Belgic E: 'Morini' and the Evans type B.10 as British QB (Brit. Remic) (B2).
