Description

A small bowl barrow on Bacombe Hill, marked by a slight rise 51m SW from the centre of the known barrow [0001100000). The circular mound measures 10m in diameter and 0.6m high. There is no evidence of a quarry ditch, and the mound is believed to be of 'scraped' construction, using turf and topsoil from the surrounding area. The whole area needs a survey when scrub clearance is completed (B10-11).
Scheduled December 1995: Scheduled Monument no.27133 (B13).
