Description

FRAGMENT OF AN AXE, OF QUARTZITE MATERIAL. ALSO PART OF A POLISHED STONE AXE, ITS PROBABLE SOURCE AREA WAS CHARNWOOD FOREST, LEICESTERSHIRE (B1, P161). AXES FOUND IN UNSTRATIFIED DEPOSITS/AS SURVIVALS IN LATER FEATURES.
