Description

SHERDS FOUND WITH AN OVEN OR SIMILAR STRUCTURE (B1). BASE OF STRUCTURE CONSISTED OF LAYER OF RED TILES RESTING ON WHITE CLAY, WITH BURNING & CHARCOAL (B2). FINDER, MR SMITH, CONFIRMS NGR. AFTER STRIPPING, 2 CIRCULAR AREAS OF BURNING SEEN, BOTH CONTAINING POTTERY (B3). SITE NOW UNDER WYCOMBE BY-PASS (B4).
