Description

HOUSE, C1770, FORMERLY MILL-OWNERS HOUSE. 2 STOREYS & ATTIC, 3 BAYS. FLINT, FRONT RENDERED & WHITEWASHED. REAR HAS ONE HIPPED & ONE GABLED BAY. PROJECTING PLINTH (B7).
Grade II. House, formerly house of mill-owner. Circa 1770. Flint, the front rendered and whitewashed. Plain tile roof, brick chimney to right. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. Off-set plinth, first floor band course, coved eaves. 3-pane sashes, square to first floor and attic, in boxed frames. Attic windows in flat-roofed dormers. Central flush panelled door with rectangular fanlight and flanking C20 panelled pilasters. Hood is missing. Service wing set back to right has hipped roof and wooden casements, those to ground floor altered C20. Rear has one hipped bay and one gabled bay (B8).
