2 FISHPONDS AT TINGEWICK REFERRED TO IN SEVERAL DOCUMENTS OF NEW COLLEGE, OXFORD. PONDS ARE DESCRIBED AS 'GREATER' & 'LESSER' IN 1624; BY 1727 THE PONDS WERE DRAINED & TURNED TO PASTURE(B3). DOCUMENTS CONCERNING THE PONDS & THE SUCCEEDING PASTURES SURVIVE FROM C17,18,19(B2-3). NGR TO DAM-JPP
