Description

A gold stater of Cunobelinus, was found at Cuddington (SP 7411), in 1860. Now in the British Museum. COIN OF CUNOBELINUS. OBV: CA-MV. EAR OF BEARDED CORN. REV: CVNO. HORSE PRANCING TO RIGHT. ABOVE A BRANCH BETWEEN 2 PELLETS; OTHER PELLETS IN FRONT OF HEAD AND BETWEEN TAIL. EXERGUAL LINE, THE WHOLE WITHIN A BEADED CIRCLE. PELLET BENEATH HORSE; THAT ABOVE BRANCH IS ABSENT. 84 GRAINS (B1-2).
