SCHEDULED (B7).
Limited contour survey undertaken by Dave Went in February 1995 suggests monuments size is 25m across and mound is a maximum height of 0.9m. The mound is bisected by a modern ditch and roadside verge on the southern side (B8).
A barrow reused as a mill mound of Bronze Age date, possibly reused as a mill mound in the medieval/post medieval period, is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located approximately 400m west of King’s Cross, on the A418, Haddenham, and centred at SP 73715 10013. The mound is not very clear on aerial photographs because of surrounding tree cover. It is not clear on Google Streetview, again, because of vegetation but is clearly visible on lidar visualisations of the area. It measures approximately 26m across at its largest and appears to have been truncated/affected by the course of the road. (9-10)
