DAM IN 1913 WAS A STRONG BANK 7FT HIGH & C 100 YDS LONG, WITH RETURN AT S END ACROSS A SMALL TRIBUTARY OF THE OUSE, PIERCED TO ALLOW ITS PASSAGE(B1). DAM MUCH DENUDED BY 1982; APPEARED AS A SLIGHT SWELLING EACH SIDE OF STREAM, WITH S RETURN SLIGHTLY MORE PROMINENT. RELATES TO FISHPONDS(B4)
