Description

A short distance to the south-west of no. 22, is 23, Chandos Road which is another attractive example of a detached mid to late Victorian villa which is situated slightly back from the pavement behind a dense hedge on the north-western side of the road. The building is two storeys in height with a basement and constructed of red brick with a first floor storey band and window and door openings emphasised in carved stonework with vertical barley stick detailing carved on the pillars dividing the window sashes. This is a local building of note within the Conservation Area of Buckingham. (B1).
