PLAIN OVAL BOWL. NECK A STYLIZED ANIMAL HEAD, MANE RUNNING INTO HANDLE. HOLE IN NECK CREATES PROFILE OF CREATURE'S THROAT & JAW. GERMANIC INFLUENCE? SIMILAR SPOON FROM DORCHESTER (DORSET). PART OF GT.HORWOOD HOARD? (B1).
