Description

Stewkley House has a date on the front of one of its four brick gables recording its construction in 1900. However, the rear part of the house is built in stone and was formerly called Stewkley Cottage. The
older part of the house is built in the Regency style of the early 19th century. The grounds of Stewkley House contain dense and mature planting of sycamore and horse chestnut that dominates this part of the village. A local building of note within the Conservation Area of Stewkley (B1).
