Description

SMALL SCATTER OF WASTE FLAKES FOUND DURING WORK ALONG LINE OF NEW CHALFONT BY-PASS, A413. The precise attridution of this assemblage is uncertain since no tools were recovered. It may be associated with encampments or sporadic flint quarrying on the valley floor. (B1-2).
NEOLITHIC FLAKES & ARTEFACTS MENTIONED AS BEING FOUND AT TQ 007893 ARE PROBABLY THOSE MENTIONED ABOVE, WITH WRONG GRID REF (B3-4).
