Description

Built in 1971 by Charles Walsh of the Crendon Concrete Company. The building is twelve sided and constructed using a prestressed concrete frame which is cast from the moulds used for the lecture theatre at Moulton Agricultural College, Northants built in 1968. Unusual modern building within historic context, mentioned in Pevsner (The Buildings of England, Buckinghamshire page 445). This is a local building of note within the Conservation Area of Long Crendon (B1).
