Description

19th century former school building. Red brick with some stone dressings. Single storey with slate roof and attractive chimneys. Mullion and transom windows sit beneath brick lintels. Converted to dwelling - insertion of roof lights. Sits front of plot behind low brick wall and railings. Prominent in street scene and maintains strong building line. Remains recognisable as former school despite conversion and makes positive contribution to both history of village and quality of streetscape. This is a local building of note within the Conservation Area of Maids Moreton. (B1).
