George Green, a hamlet about a mile north of Langley village, contains a farm-house and a number of cottages of the 16th and 17th centuries, which, although retaining a good deal of original work, have been much altered and added to in later times (B1).
'Westmoor Green', later 'George Green' is marked on OS maps from about 1811 onwards (B2).
