Description

The ecclesiastical parish of Iver Heath was formed out of Iver in 1862, and has an area of about 2,000 acres. There is a village hall, erected in 1902. The Iver Heath School, built in 1872, has an endowment of £100 stock, known as Toulmin's charity (B1).
Iver Heath is first mentioned in legal documents in 1365 (B2).
Iver Heath is first marked on OS maps from about 1878 onwards with widely scattered and mainly isolated buildings; infilling starts to be seen by 1935, with building starting in earnest from the 1950s (B3).
