Description

Late 17th or early 18th century cobbled surface or path, dated by finds of pottery, found during evaluation trial trenching carried out by Archaeological Solutions in September 2009. The surface was over 4.4m X 1.6m and 0.12m thick, extending beyond the limits of the trench. See report for detail (B4).
