Description

The Rectory House, built in 1846, is a handsome Elizabethan structure of red brick with Bath stone dressings. It is surrounded by five acres of garden, pleasure grounds &c (B2).
The Rectory, built in 1846, possibly replaced the Parsonage House of five bays of stone and timber which stood here in 1607 (B3).
FORMER RECTORY WAS AT NGR (DEMOLISHED). NEW ONE IS AT SP6496 2317 (B4).
