Description

Geophysical survey carried out by Bartlett-Clark Consultancy in January and February 2008 in advance of proposed redevelopment of former airfield identified anomalies (Feature A) interpreted as a sub-rectangular ditched enclosure aligned NNE-SSW and 50m wide, with possible internal features (B1).
Possibly a continuation of CAS 09911?
Trial trench evaluation confirmed presence of settlement identified during geophysical survey. See report for further details (B2).
