Description

Probable eighteeth to nineteenth century milestone on bridleway off private road beteween Eythrope and Stone village. On Milestones Society survey website as present in 2002 on Stone to Eythrope route National ID number BU_ZST044. East side of unclassified road 29cm wide 32cm deep 83cm high. On grass verge on hill. 'Tooled sides good quality stone ? marker for road to Erythrope House.'. Inscription : front : XLI ( ) miles from London: back: XLVI miles.[Detailed description, location and photograph] (B1).
