Description

'St Saviour's Church' shown on County 6-inch edition OS map of 1919-1927 and on subsequent 6-inch OS maps until NG1:10,000 map of 1981 (B1).
The church of St Saviour, Turville Park, completed in 1898, is built of flint in the Gothic style and consists of chancel and nave. It serves as a chapel of ease to the parish church (B2).
Saviours, converted from St Saviours, was a chapel of ease for St Mary's in Turville. Originally the building was of brick and flint with a west bellcote. It was converted in the 1970s in a bold and modern fashion, with large cream painted arched dormers in the roof which take reference from windows elsewhere in the conservation area. There is a stained glass window by John Piper in St Mary's Church in Turville village itself commemorating St Saviours. Saviours is a significant building within the conservation area of Turville Heath (B3).
Photographs of St Saviours in about 1929 and 1930 (B4).
