Description

Grade II. Shelter shed. Mid-late C19. For the Dashwood Estate. Timber frame, open on east front, otherwise with weatherboard cladding on brick plinth. Half-hipped plain tile roof. One storey, 4 x 2 bays. Wooden posts on chamfered padstones and with base braces; straight braces to wall-plates and tie-beams. A doorway to each gable end. Interior: collared queen-post roof trusses with clasped purlins and plank ridge; straight braces to wall framing and roof. Included for group value (B1).
