Description

Grade II. Barn. Tie beam inscribed "This Barn Was Built in ye year of our Lord King George ye Second 1729". Refurbished C20. Timber frame with C20 weatherboard cladding, flint and brick plinth, old tile roof. Approximately 8 bays with small board doors in gabled projections to bays 2 and 6. Another board door to centre. Rear has cart entries opposite projections, and central shuttered window. Interior has trusses with raking queen posts to purlins, no collars, and braced ties (B1).
Delisted 31st May 1990.
Barn appears to have been demolished between 1990 and 1997 (B2).
