Description

LATE C18 BARN & STABLES TO N, E, & W OF FARMHOUSE. (FULL DESCRIPTION, DRAWINGS & HISTORY)(B1).
Grade II. Cartshed, part converted to stables, with stables at left end. Late C18-early C19. Flint and brick rear wall to road, old tile roofs. 7-bay cartshed with weatherboard stable in right bay and 3 more C20 boarded stables set into left bays. Queen strut trusses, some roof timbers renewed. Stable block to left with weatherboarded front, 2 stable doors, 2 windows, and loft door in gabled dormer. Vent slits in rear wall. Flint and brick outbuilding with hipped roof at left end. Included for group value (B2).

Tack room at Manor Farm, part of stable block, built in the post medieval period (B3).
