Description
Grade II. Barn and cartshed. Late C18. Barn is of flint with brick dressings and half-hipped old tile roof. Off-set brick eaves. Aisled. 6 bays with gabled cart entries to bays 2 and 5, the left gable with C20 clock. Vent slits, small blocked window to left of centre. Interior has queen strut trusses, diagonal braces to tie-beams and aisle-plates, and curved wind-braces. Some timbers re-used. Cartshed of 6 bays attached at angle to front right corner, with flint and brick rear wall, old tile roof, and weatherboarded outer bays (B2).
