Description

A section of the Berkhamsted (Herts) General Baptist church built a meeting house in Chesham in 1712 known as the 'Star Meeting-house' which was enlarged in 1735 and 1835. The present chapel of 1901-2 is by J. Wallis Chapman (B1).
General Baptist Church, Broadway. 1901-2 by Wallis Chapman. Free Style Perpendicular, striped in red brick and cream stone and with a big domed turret. Nicely positioned to look towards High Street (B2).
