Description
Former Wesleyan Chapel, registered 1836, but perhaps built a few years earlier. Sunday school added 1907. now a house (B1).
A former non-Conformist Chapel, now converted to a domestic dwelling. Chapel House is prominently position close to the road edge and on the eastern (less developed) side of the main village road. The 19th century brick building is instantly recognisable as an ecclesiastical building with its large lancet window and arched doorway. The building is significant because of its form and also because of its contribution to understanding of the social and spiritual history of the village.
