Description

Whilst the evidence form these two TPs is far from compelling, taken together it is probable that the presence of medieval pottery is the result of occupation rather than any other activity. Notably, TP 46 produced 13 sherds, far more than might be expected to accumulate through manuring. It is possible to postulate that the occupied zone found during fieldwalking to the east extends below the modern house and possibly beyond (B1).
