Description

Locally listed. 17th century or earlier, much altered. 19th century and modern front. 2 storeys and attic, 5 gabled 19th century dormers. Old tile steeply pitched roof (B1).
The inn was demolished in 1966 (B2).
1931 photo includes inn in middle distance (B3).
OS mapping and current APs (1999 and 2003) suggest building still standing. Is this a reconstruction or is source 2 mistaken? (B4).
