Description

'The Citadel'. A prominent circular, domes hill at N end of Pitstone Hill. No earthworks evident on surface. Geophysics has apparently located a ditch encircling the summit. Looking for NE, there appears to be a slight ledge on SE flank of hill, but this cannot be followed for any distance on the ground (B1).
