Description

Woodland bank and ditch along N side of Aldbury Nowers (following county boundary) and including a steep descent down the W escarpment of Pitstone Hill. Along N side of woodland has consistent profile and lies inside present fenced boundary. Ditch and bank span 5m with amplitude of 0.5m, base of ditch to top of bank. Along escarpment ditch becomes broader and deeper as it plunges down Pitstone Hill (B1).
