Description
A single trial trench was dug on land north of Rose Cottage, Shabbington. A gully and two pits were found in excavation, and contained Brill/Boarstall ware pottery dating from the 13th to the 16th century. After this the land seems to have been used as a garden and then a building close by was demolished in the 19th century, leaving some demolition rubble on site (B1).
