Description

Two possible ditch terminals or pits and a post-hole were found in one trench dug in advance of the construction of new houses on Picts Lane. These contained medieval pottery. One of the possible pits also contained a residual Neolithic flint flake. Another post-medieval pit or ditch contained pottery and evidence of smithing (B1).
