Description

Two possible prehistoric ditches were excavated in the gardens to the rear of 46-52 Picts Lane in advance of the construction of new houses. Two flakes and a piece of burnt flint was found in one ditch, the flakes being hard-hammered and possibly Bronze Age, and the other ditch was of similar dimensions and fill but with no flakes (B1).
