Description

Heavily weathered open trench approximately 0.4m wide and 0.5m deep examined by David Gilbert of John Moore Heritage Services whilst working on adjacent site in May 2007. Small quantities of pottery were recovered from 2 layers in the south-facing section of the trench and were subsequently identified as Brill/Boarstall ware by Paul Blinkhorn (B1).
