Description

A second probable Mesolithic in situ flint scatter was recorded on the east edge of the River Colne gravel island, within test pit 62/62a in field 4. The scatter, which was contained within a dark yellow brown peaty sand lying directly over the natural gravel, consisted of a small number of blade and flake pieces (B1).
