Description

Two ditches, aligned north-south, were found during an evaluation by Archaeological Solutions in January 2007 in advance of a housing development. Both ditches produced finds of broken tile and building material, suggesting they were of post-medieval date. They were probably boundary or drainage ditches. They suggest the site was under cultivation until the redevelopment of the area in the early 1960s (B1).
