Description

Westhorpe Park mentioned as the site of a prisoner-of-war camp in BRO publication about wartime Buckinghamshire. Mentions one prisoner-of-war, Rudi Baetke, who stayed in Buckinghamshire after the war and found himself housing his own herd of pigs in the very huts which he had inhabited in 1944 as a P.O.W at Westhorpe House (B5).
