Plan Form - CIRCULAR
1 BARROW, WHEN OPENED 1839-40, CONTAINED A SMALL WOODEN VAULT BUILT OVER A CREMATED CORPSE. AROUND BURIAL WERE POTS, GLASS & BRONZE VESSELS, GOLD ORNAMENT & RING, WINE JARS, IRON WEAPONS, LAMP WITH CHAINED LID (B8). 'FLOOR' OF BARROW & RB TILES WERE INCORPORATED IN SAXON DEITIES TEMPLE AT STOWE, SEE CASS 4208:03:034.
