Description

In [Great] Marlow Walter [of Vernon] holds 6 hides and 1 1/2 virgates. Land for 6 ploughs; in lordship 3 1/2 hides; 2 ploughs there. 8 villagers with 6 smallholders have 2 1/2 ploughs; a further 1 1/2 ploughs possible. 1 slave; meadow for 2 ploughs. The value is and was 100s; before 1066 £4. Godric, Asgar the Constable's man, held this manor; he could sell (B1).
