Description

Site described in the 1910 Valuation Survey (assessment no.1490) as a timber yard occupied by Plumridge's, a firm which operated a large sawmill in nearby Desborough Road, processing timber for the furniture-making industry. It is not known for how long the timber yard was used. The Ordnance Survey map of 1975 shows the site as a car park, hence the site was built over after 1975 (B1).
