Description

Antiference was an important company in Aylesbury's development during the second half of the 20th century owning several companies - Elm Engineering, Merx Optical [HER ref: 0947200000], as well as trading in its own name, (B4).This record refers to Antiference's main manufacturing site on the Bicester Road, (B2), - part of an industrial complex situated between the Bicester Road, (South side), and the railway, circa 1.25 Km North-West of Aylesbury town centre, (B1).
The County Record Office holds a collection of product catalogues and leaflets dating from 1960 to 1975, (B3).
